Printing on Herringbone Fabrics
Mayfair is one of our custom print Herringbone fabrics, give it a go to see the Herringbone weave in action.
The front and back sides of the fabric are textured with a soft, structured, thick build. The drape falls easily and naturally and holds form but returns easily to its natural state. The fabric has no elasticity but is taut on the warp and weft, with very little but some give in the bias.
The base colour of the fabric is an off-white, cream base. The colour intensity has a bright contrast with a really strong presence for darker colours. Details and fine lines are depicted clearly, but we advise to try and avoid paler tones for detailed areas as they might be lost amongst the off-white base of the material and the textured surface.
Due to the medium levels of compression and durability, this fabric is perfect for use in soft furnishings such as homeware accessories, and also for craft projects. Have fun and get creating.
