Digital Printing on Trafalgar
If you want clear, gorgeous twill, with full colours? Print on Trafalgar Twill fabric.
The front and back texture are the same. Both very delicately soft, with a very fine brushed surface. The feel to the body is soft and comfortable. When it comes to draping this is a firm but malleable fabric, always returns to original shape.
The base colour of the Trafalgar is an off white. The colour intensity is a quite bright array with a good contrast to the base tone of the custom print Trafalgar fabric. The detail of the final print has fine lines and block colours coming out easily, with deep penetrating colour, topped off with a matt all over finish.
The qualities of this material lend it to be used for so many things. It’s slightly stiffened firm nature makes it more suitable for artist canvas. It’s soft brushed face and malleable feel makes it perfect for upholstery and other soft furnishings. Its also very good for craft projects so get creative.
Frequently asked questions on Trafalgar Twill 274gsm:
What is the difference between "Portobello" and "Trafalgar"?

Am I able to print in really intricate detail on Trafalgar material?
Yes the fabric prints beautifully, deep rich colours penetrating the fabric with nice clear lines, the weave created a surface texture which doesn't interrupt the print at all.
Does Trafalgar crease easily?
It's not an easy fabric to crease, but if it does become crumpled, then you can quickly get out the iron and safely eliminate those pesky creases.
