A3 print of Victorian reproduction. Imogen is a character of William Shakespeare in "Cymbeline". She is depicted in act 1, scene 7, wearing a diadem. The drawing is made by John William Wright (1802-1848). He was an English genre and portrait watercolour painter and illustrator. He was born in London. At the age of 10, he was sent to school in Brixton but had to be withdrawn due to ill-health, which he suffered from throughout his life. In 1831, he was elected an associate of the Old Watercolour Society.
