Directly inspired by the slow descent into madness of the key character of Stanley Kubrick's groundbreaking movie The Shining (1980), Jack Torrence (Jack Nicholson) giving the impression he is diligently writing a novel, instead is repeatedly and obsessively typing "All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy."
Here the words 'All work and no play...' are written again and again, becoming the very fall into the dark maze of insanity that is The Overlook Hotel.
The original art utilised Molotow Liquid Chrome markers, giving an ice cold reflective quality. The artwork has been photographed at high resolution, adapted and instanced for print.
